Our Solution
A credit reporting service provider offered conscientious customers a way to monitor their credit reports online. In order to assist in maintaining great credit health and detect identity theft, alerts were sent to customer if there were any concerns with their credit report. With a monthly credit check and additional optional services, the service provider was deterred with the abundant surcharges required by an integrated third party system that monitored credit and provided reporting tools.
Looking to reduce the cost and fees, a team of five Improvers were identified to build, from the ground up, an in-house solution to replace the integrated third party provider. Three new portals were defined, designed, tested and developed within an aggressive 3 month time frame. These portals were to allow the customer to track their credit information, customer service agents to assist new or subscribed customers and a maintenance portal for system support. Eliminating a need for an external middle tier, a significant cost savings was recognized with a crucial tool to assist consumers with the fight against identity theft.
