Born in a farm town in South India, Venkat didn’t get his first computer till 1999 when he moved to the US. Since then he has had a passion to develop powerful usable software. 

He first started programming by developing Mind Storm robots using C in 2003. He later took this keen interest in robotics to college and majored in Computer Science and Software Engineering with special interest in Artificial Intelligence. While attending college, he interned at Shell Oil and Alcatel-Lucent developing .Net solutions. After graduating college, he joined consulting industry and developed .Net solutions for various Fortune 500 clients.  

Venkat is an avid learner, and adamant about constantly developing his craft and others around him. He has a strong passion for software craftsmanship, and agile processes. He is a active member of .NET community and volunteers his time to teach. He joined Improving in 2010 since they share the same core values and passion for learning.
