As a proud founding partner of Improving Enterprises, I currently serve as VP of consulting and am also responsible for integration of our newest enterprises. I also like to stay engaged with our clients with organizational, process, and technology-related needs. I also teach workshops and am a frequent public speaker at user groups and industry conferences. I have also been on the adjunct Computer Science faculty at Southern Methodist University since 2009, where I am lead instructor of the Freshmen Computer Science curriculum.

Co-author of the Addison Wesley book Individuals and Interactions: An Agile Guide, which is available in English and Mandarin. Also author of the 2013 Kendall Hunt textbook Principles of Computer Science: Java Edition.

A proud parent of five grown children. After many years as a suburbanite, is now a living the urban dream in a downtown Dallas high rise. I enjoy spending my spare time outdoors, and am likely to be spotted on one of Dallas’ many bike trails on the weekend
