Improving’s Inaugural AgileDotNet Conference Sells Out

news-detail-agiledotnet

Improving Enterprises, along with several key sponsors, established the first technology conference explicitly designed to bring together the world of .NET with the world of Agile methodologies. The event curriculum was built specifically for those within .NET development environments with experience applying Agile techniques and for those just beginning to adopt Agile in their teams and organizations.

The conference delivered an impressive line-up of twelve Agile presentations in three tracks — Development, Business/PM, and Requirements/QA — which were presented by Improving’s highly respected Agile experts and practitioners.

In addition, the one-day event included a lunch panel entitled, “Go Ahead, Question Agile” and both an Opening Keynote given by Improving’s Todd Girvin, Founder and Microsoft MVP and a Closing Keynote given by Improving’s Chris Tullier, Principal Consultant and Microsoft MVP. www.agiledotnet.com

Improving worked with three outstanding sponsors — Microsoft, Infragistics and JetBrains — all dedicated to bringing practical and useful information to the .NET community. Microsoft was key to the success of the conference by providing marketing support and an excellent venue in which to host the conference. Infragistics and JetBrains provided expert advice on how to apply Agile concepts using the Microsoft .NET framework, Visual Studio, and Visual Studio Team System.

The Agile .NET Conference 2008 was a sell out and considered a complete success. Plans for the Agile .NET Conference 2009 are already underway. The event promises to offer a wider range of Agile topics, showcase more Agile tools, and be slightly longer. Of course the fun and chances to win fantastic prizes will still be there.
